Hayes Park on Johns Island is the scene of old blending with new. Century-old live oaks keep watch while new residents create lives and memories in an iconic Lowcountry destination, and soon it will become home to multiple commercial tenants poised to cut the ribbon and open their doors spring and summer 2023.
Seaboard Builders provides the community with its commercial builds at Hayes Park, 12 buildings in total, which creates the entrance into this mixed-use development, and the first thing that greets visitors and residents of Hayes Park.
Special care has been taken with the commercial property’s design to protect and promotes the natural landscape of Johns Island. The buildings were designed around the existing natural tree canopy, and special attention was given to creating a business park that works with the environment.
For example, the parking lots use pervious parking pads. These pavers won’t damage tree roots and allow water to flow to the trees, helping preserve their life and the geography that makes Johns Island a special place.
Locals to Johns Island will enjoy popular spots like High Steaks Butcher Shop and Somm Wine Bar, or even a spa day at Opal Aesthetics.
Hayes Park will be a destination for many home design related services, each complementing one another. Interior design firm Grace Fredrick Design and frame shop A Simple Tree reside here, as well as New Leaf Builders’ Design Studio and their sister company, Sapling Home, a bespoke furniture company, all call Hayes Park home.
Even Seaboard Builders makes Hayes Park their official headquarters here at 600 Kindred Court in fall of 2023.
